Scott Wildgust to sell full line of PMRA,
Torco, and Wild Boar racing gear
STRATFORD,ONTARIO (February 7, 2008) - Drag race fans who would like to be able to purchase clothing and souvenirs of their favorite sport, but have had no luck in finding them, will now be able to do so thanks to Pro Modified Racing Association driver Scott Wildgust.
Wildgust has recently outfitted a 30-foot concession trailer which will be taken to local Ontario car shows, all PMRA races in 2008, the IHRA National Events at the Grand Bend Motorplex and Toronto Motorsports Park, plus other selected drag racing events. Heading up the concession will be Wildgust associate Jack Switzer.
“We’ll be selling the full line of Torco Racing Fuels and Skull Shine racing apparel,” stated Wildgust, who heads up Torco Racing Fuels Ontario. We’ll also have an entire range of PMRA clothing, including hats, shirts, jackets, and other items.”
Wildgust also mentioned he will be introducing the new line of Wild Boar Gear racing apparel, which along with the other brands, will be available starting at the Speedorama Car Show in Toronto February 8 to 10.
Wildgust, who tied for second in points in the 2007 PMRA Championship, mentioned two items of interest to the PMRA.
“I’d like to extend a personal invite to all the PMRA drivers and teams to come down to Speedorama and check out the line of PMRA clothing we have,” said Wildgust. “And a percentage of PMRA sales we make will go back into the PMRA, to help with its year-end Champions Banquet.”
He also mentioned through Jack Switzer, who is the Canadian distributor of Mike Bos race cars, that for each $20.00 spent at the trailer, the purchaser will receive a ballot entitling the purchaser a chance to win a Mike Bos Junior Dragster in a year-end raffle.

PMRA tour stops in 2008 include two dates at Toronto Motorsports Park in Cayuga, Ontario, Dunn Tire Raceway Park in Lancaster, New York, Sanair in Quebec and the Southwestern Ontario track of Grand Bend Motorplex.
Negotiations are underway with several US race tracks based in Michigan, New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania with the plan of presenting a seven-event PMRA drag racing series this season.
